Darin Called For Help

So Darin was changing Katelyn and I heard, "Angel!". So this is what happened. Darin had this gown on upside down and had her arms in it. He was not successful and Katelyn was crying. It is now stretched out.
Quote from Darin, "Who would make something so complicated to put on a child with the wholes with the same size."
Not anymore.

Thankimony

I am thankful that:

Katelyn did not barf today.

That Darin will be home with us for the next 4 days straight with no school or work.

I learned today that Darin's coworker goes to school at 7:40am and works until 1am. He lives in Provo so he stays in Salt Lake all day because of the commute. He has a wife and 3 children. That puts my life into perspective, we cherish the time that we have with Darin everyday, even if it is only for a few hours.

That family loves us and we love them past, present, and future.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Some Pics

Fell asleep while we ate dinner. I felt a little bad that
we just let her sit there. I hope I don't fell guilty my whole life.
Had to take a picture of it for Darin. He sure misses a lot with school and work. Oh, and after I took the picture I saw that is got on the desk too. Yuck!

Do you like my little shoes?

Gimme a kiss!

Don't you just want to tickle her tongue.

To Nap Or Not To Nap

I am sure all you mothers or baby sitters out there can understand my dilemma. Katelyn will nap and I think should I. It would be great to get some rest while Katelyn is resting but it would also be great to get some household things done. Do you understand what I am saying? I need a nap.

Thirty-one and still Pregnant

I have entered a new year of age and I still have a baby inside. I have been on bed rest for a little over two weeks and it will stay that way until she comes. They are monitoring my blood pressure which is high but not really high. I have no other signs of preeclampsia, thank goodness, so they think the bed rest is doing me good. I guess to an extent it is. Two more weeks! Can you be scared and excited at the same time?
Darin did not use 31 candles but for some reason they burned fast. There were a few that stopped right at the frosting. My farbit birthday cake, rainbow chip with rainbow chip frosting. Thanks to my old roommate Lisa for making it and Darin for frosting it.

Picture Wall

Angel saw a metal wall hanging, but it cost too much. At work they were getting rid of these metal shelves so I brought them home for free. This is what we did with them.

PS. This is Darin's first post. I am teaching him how so he does not have any excuses when the baby comes.

Anticipation

Well I am 34 weeks and counting. I have called the hospital and pre-registered for giving birth. I still have many more questions for my doctor, like, do I call you before I go to the hospital? Well I guess that will all come in time.

Things I am wondering about...

-when is she going to come

-is she really a she

-will she kick this much when she is no longer in my belly

-will I be able to handle the pain

-will I want to do this again

-is it going to hurt a lot

-how do I take care of a baby (almost by myself, because 2 days after my due date Darin starts school and we only see each other for 2 hours a day)

-what will she look like

-will I(we) be able to get her to stop crying

-I hope I can feed her so we won't have to buy formula

-I hope she will be a healthy, happy baby that turns into a healthy, happy child and adult

-how do you raise kids

Well these are the things for now as I think of more I will let you know.

The Happnins

Well we had a birthday, Darin is now 33! We moved as well. Everything went smoothly. We had a lot of people from our ward and a few good friends show up to help us move. It only took 2 hours from load to unload. I was amazed and very grateful. I got to work the last few days of school and amongst the fun was a water day activity. I did not have any warning so I got a nice, hot sunburn. I get to drink my fruit punch drink this week, hopefully all goes well. Darin is not in school for the summer, so we get to spend a lot more time together. It is nice because during school we see each other for about an hour and a half a day. Hopefully we won't get sick of each other. Well, until next time.

Sunburn that looked worse in person.

Trip to Idaho

I went to Shelley and Rexburg with Lacey, Brandon, and Andrew. We had a fun time. My, how Rexburg has changed. On the way back to Utah Brandon got thirsty so this is what Lacey got for the kids to drink.

Thank you McDonald's for your dollar any size drink.
