What's up with us?

So it's been a while. Here are the things we have been up to.

Baking a quiche in the new oven. Yummy!



Car trouble! Good thing Darin knows how to fix cars. We did not have to pay a mechanic.


Family weekend. It is good to be around family. We enjoyed visiting with Aunts and Uncles and cousins we haven't seen in a while.












Easter weekend in Bear Lake Utah. The off season makes for a nice quiet weekend get away. I think it would be worth visiting during the main season. Beautiful country.

A new Oven!!!!!!

Since we moved in our oven and stove have not worked right. At first it would not heat up right and then it got too hot. I've had a few meals, breads, and desserts that have not come out right. And these are foods that I have made many times. Well today the new oven came. I feel like a new home owner!!! Yaaaahhhh!!!!

This is what I have been looking at for the last two weeks. I am feeling better now so I hope to change this soon.

Moved

We are basically moved. Thank you to our family and friends and ward who came and moved us. Maybe in a month I will have pictures. Who knows? I am sick.

Moving!!!!!

We are moving. After only 4 and a half months in this apartment we are out. The mold has become too much and the ceiling is leaking. Our land lord has not fixed the problems in the 3 months she has known about them, so she has agreed to let us out of our lease. We are packing and looking for a new place to live. We hope to find something in this general area because it is close to our work and Darin's school. Well I guess happy hunting for us. We would love any extra helpers with our move. :)

What in the?

Darin had an situation while backing out of our carport. He claims the post jumped out and got the car and it wasn't his fault. It was bound to happen because we have to park too close so we can get out of our car.

Do we have a child?

No, but our heater blows the toilet paper around and makes it look like a child was playing in the bathroom.

Family Shirts

Our family got shirts to celebrate getting together this Christmas. Darin and I will not be able to join the family. So here we are in our shirts.

Freaking MOLD!

I am so mad because we have a mold problem. Not only is it growing on the walls, but on my coat as well. Any ideas of how to remove mold from a coat?

Sunday Dinner with friends

We had our friends Megan and Dan over for dinner and games. It was fun. We played Jenga (well the cheaper set; they were a little rough around the edges). If you can't tell we had a fun time.

We got a set of clippers and I cut Darin's hair. I think I did a pretty good job. All I needed to do was clean it up.

Welcome to Utah!

So today I answered the door, it was the UPS man delivering our internet set up stuff. Yeah!! There was this other man outside and he asked if the people right across the way were home. I told him I didn't know. I noticed that he was plain clothed with a badge, a police officer. So we have been siting here for a couple of hours and Darin has been walking back and forth between windows to see what is going on. Several police officers later, they got the people out of the house and took one guy away in hand cuffs. Crazy and it all happened six feet from our door.

Itty Bitty Disneyland

I went to Disneyland for work and we had breakfast with the characters. The Fairy Godmother told me that Minnie made the Mickey shaped waffles, that is why she is wearing her apron. The breakfast was delicious.

Birthday! What?

I am now in my 30th year.

A College Student!

Darin got accepted to LDSBC. We will be moving to Utah 1 week after we get married.

I'm getting married October 11, 2008.

Here are some pictures from San Francisco. I was sick the whole time. I thought I had strep throat, but when I got back I found out I had an ear infection in both ears. So, I think I look like I'm sick in this picture.
